Superfood Smoothies
Nourish your body. Feed your soul.
Nourrissez votre corps. Nourrissez votre âme.
Strong coffee,
slow mornings
Le café, toute la journée
Dark roast, pulled properly, in a room where nobody rushes you out. Espresso and café au lait, the depth charge for the desperate, masala chai and matcha, bagels and avocado toast — and the Red Fufu Pancake Plate if you're staying a while.
A modern African bowl with deep roots
Fufu here is a soft, gluten-free crepe made from cassava, plantain and corn — folded into bowls with fonio and quinoa, roasted vegetables, chickpeas and avocado, or served as bites you eat with your hands. Everything finishes with one of three sauces.
Then the lights go down
Where Africa meets the world
In the evening the café turns into Baobab Lounge — Marco Senghor's Bissap Baobab reborn: West African plates, wine, and live music under the painted panels. Saturdays belong to tango, from 11am into the afternoon.

Fufu bowls and bites, jollof and plantains on weekends, salmon coconut, beef mafé, chicken yassa — gluten-free at the base.
Wine, beer and sangria — plus made-fresh house drinks: bissap & mint, coconut paradise, baobab sunset, moringa ginger, ginger passion, and the house bissap brewed every morning.
Hand-painted panels, red drapes, low lamps, and a band in the corner some nights. Art · Music · Community · Soul.
Named for Muddy Waters, the Mississippi bluesman whose music began as West African music — carried across the ocean and returned electric. We cook the roots the blues came from.
